Julie Martin - Plans for a New Skate Park

The Rotary Club of Graby was responsible for the development of the original Granby Skate Park which was located at the site of the current Granby Library. It went through a few iterations, years of maintenance and at least two Eagle Scout Projects. When the Library displaced the old Skate Park, it was moved to its current location by the Town of Granby and professionally built by a skate park company with input from Granby Rotary. Now, after the current park has experienced its own maintenance issues, the Town of Granby is apparently going to build a brand-new all-concrete skate park. I can't wait to see the plans for this new park!!
